Seal "VDWF voluntary commitment to sustainable management”

The Association of German Tool and Mold Makers (VDWF) introduces the “VDWF Commitment to Sustainable Management” seal. Signatories of the voluntary commitment expressly commit to responsible corporate governance by aligning their business activities and actions with sustainability, e.g. the sustainability goals of the United Nations. This includes the integration of sustainability initiatives into the corporate strategy as well as commitments to transparency, compliance with the law and adherence to ethical standards. The voluntary commitment also includes measures to protect the climate, preserve ecosystems and improve working conditions within the company and along the entire supply chain.
At a time when ecological and social responsibility are increasingly coming into focus, the VDWF voluntary commitment serves as a signpost - and it strengthens confidence in the future viability of our industry”.

Toolmakers who are committed to a more sustainable way of working and would like to demonstrate this can apply for the free seal from the VDWF by signing the voluntary commitment. After successful verification, they will receive the relevant documents from the association as confirmation of their commitment. The seal is then valid for two years and can be used, for example, in e-mails, on websites and in business stationery.
